  • Sabara Srikhetra Sanskrit Vidyapeeth in Koraput has received recognition and affiliation from Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi, to begin Sanskrit courses including Prathama, Madhyama, Prak-Shastri, PG Diploma in Karmakanda & Pourohitya, and PG Diploma in Yogic Science from this academic year.
  • The institution will operate from the premises of Sri Jagannath Temple, Koraput, until its permanent campus is established.
  • President Taraprasad Bahinipati, along with temple officials, presented the recognition certificate at the temple and sought blessings from Mahaprabhu for the new institution.
  • The Vidyapeeth aims to promote Sanskrit, spread Indian values from scriptures, foster Sri Jagannath consciousness, and encourage study of regional tribal culture and heritage.
  • Gratitude was expressed to key supporters including Union Education Minister Sri Dharmendra Pradhan, the VC and officials of Central Sanskrit University, local MLA, administrative leaders, and district collectors for their help in establishing the Vidyapeeth.
  • The new institution adds to the legacy and services of Sri Jagannath Temple, benefiting people of the greater Koraput region.
